Swift Films scoops Royal Television Society Award

By - Richard - 26th February 2010

We are delighted to announce that our one hour documentary Race Across America won the prestigious Judges’ Award at the Royal Television Society Awards for the West of England 2010.

The judges said that it was, “right to reward the maker of the programme for his incredible ingenuity as well as his filmmaking. The film is a remarkable tale of a remarkable journey. One man’s epic cycle ride that ended in a nailbiting race against time”. The film’s Producer and Director Richard Nicholls was on hand to receive the award.

Our thanks must once again go to the film’s sponsor ‘Wellman’ and to the inspirational cyclist Jim Rees, whose never-say-die attitude provided the film with its moments of great drama.
