How I reduced my screen time by 67% (guide)

For so many years, I hated my phone! In this video, I share the experimental idea that I started doing nearly two years ago that has finally stopped the urge to keep checking my phone and reduced my screen time by nearly 70%.
My phone addiction had been cultivated over many years. It wasn’t as simple as deciding that I wanted to use my phone less. I had to introduce strict measures to make this happen and then persevere over a period of time. In the video, I talk about the three step process that I used to make this happen.
If you want to try and restrict your phone use or try any of the things I mention in this video, my advice is to take really small steps. Identify a one hour window in your day where your phone use is at its worst, or where using it makes you feel most unhappy. Consciously decide not to use your phone during this period. And then build it up from there.
If you launch straight into not using your phone for 16 hours a day, you will most likely fail. Pay attention to your behaviour. Notice your cues. Restrict your phone use slowly. I guarantee that if you can get into the habit of not using your phone for a 16 hour window every day, your life will change so much for the better.
