Cyber Reveal animation films

We were approached by our good friends at Carve Consulting to produce a slate of animation films for BAE Systems.
The client wanted to try something different in their approach to tried and tested (read clichéd) videos about cyber security.
For their new Cyber Reveal product, we approached the idea of creating bespoke, abstract, 3 dimensional animated worlds which loosely conveyed the idea of threat and security.
The idea was that the abstract 3 dimensional worlds and animation would hint at the idea of cyber threats and defences without stating this overtly.
The biggest challenge for this project was imagining and then creating the different 3 dimensional worlds.
The most time consuming part of the production process was designing the abstract elements and then conveying to the client how they would represent the idea of cyber security threats.
It was an ambitious project, but one which we relished the challenge of producing.

Richard Nicholls - Managing Director
Before launching Swift Films, Richard worked as a broadcast TV director and editor, working on programmes for the BBC, ITV and Sky.
A multi-skilled and technically-minded filmmaker, Richard is equally at home coming up with creative concepts as he is on location filming or pulling footage together in the edit suite.
Richard is a member of Independent Producers Scotland and has a love of cats, football, chocolate and Film Noir (in that order).
