The Old Royal High School

Edinburgh’s Old Royal High School building opened in 1829 and is considered to be one of the city’s most important architectural designs of the Scottish Enlightenment.

As plans are revealed to convert the building into a modern hotel, renowned Scottish film maker Murray Grigor talks about why it’s important to preserve this important piece of Scottish heritage.
