'The Man Who Ran The World'

Forthcoming documentary

Primary school teacher Bob Brown from Cornwall is one of the UK's greatest athletes. In 2001 he set off on an unusual quest to run round the world. Having run across Australia, America and Europe, in 2010, Bob will run 6000 miles across Russia in a world record 100 days. The Russian run is by far the longest and hardest stretch of his run around the world and will push his physical prowess and mental strength to breaking point.

This exclusive documentary will follow Bob's incredible journey across Russia as he battles an unrelenting schedule. In order to complete the run in 100 days, Bob will have to run the equivalent of more than two marathons every day with no days off.

Fraught with danger – Bob will be pushing himself beyond anything he or barely anybody else has ever attempted – this inspirational documentary will examine the extremes of what the human body can endure.
